In this week’s Catch a Crook, Greene County MPs look for another credit card thief who enjoys buying scratch lottery tickets. The crime happened on New Years Eve in the 700 block of South Lester Road, near I-44 and South Haseltine Road.

The victim discovered that someone had entered his Chevrolet Silverado and stole his wallet. The victim’s debit and credit cards were stolen and used in several places. The first transaction took place on January 1 at an ATM where over $ 300 was withdrawn.

Video from a Kum & Go near the intersection of Chestnut Expressway and West Bypass shows a man in a black hoodie. In the security video, he uses the victim’s debit card to get money to buy lottery tickets worth $ 60. Greene County detectives claim that the amount of fraudulent charges on the victim’s cards was $ 400.00.
