A woman who was once a top-tier investment banker decided to quit everything to become a psychic.
Danya gamliel, 33, from Melbourne, Australia, was a banker for 14 years, managing the portfolios of high net worth clients.
While she said she loved the job, she was frustrated that he was blocking her one-time gift.
“I took care of the banking and investment needs of some of the richest people and families in the country, my clients were often in the BRW top 100 and they were quirky and colorful,” she told the Daily Star. .
“My gift was somewhat stuck or numb in this work, but I had a powerful ability to connect with some of the more ‘complex’ personalities.
“I was able to read them in depth and understand their sometimes abrupt responses as I read about their traumas and the challenges of today’s life that others couldn’t see. I was a great relationship manager because of my gift.
The 33-year-old told us that she is a fifth generation psychic from her mother’s side, who is of Ukrainian descent.
She added, “My grandmother nurtured the gift in me and gave me a deck of playing cards when I was five years old.
“From there, she encouraged me to trust the symbolism of my dreams and look for various signs and messages.”
Now, since quitting her job and pursuing her talent, Danya’s gift has grown stronger and stronger.
She has had a variety of clients over the years which has resulted in a plethora of interesting stories to tell.
One of the most memorable moments of her career was when a client asked about the state of her relationship while she and her partner were on the rocks.
“I said I saw him have a low impact crash while traveling in Thailand and that would bring their relationship closer. It happened two months after I predicted it,” he said. she declared.
“I also had a client that I have never met who asked if I could help him locate a lost necklace that belonged to his late mother.
“I was able to guide her to her ex-husband’s car, which was also unknown to me, and explain to her the box in which it was kept and I described the vehicle well, it was a white Ute ! She found the necklace.
Danya was also the only “big name” psychic that a known blogging mom contacted who correctly predicted her baby’s gender and exact due date.
While still working as an investment banker, Danya offered her face-to-face psychic services on weekends.
It wasn’t until after the pandemic that she started offering her services on Zoom, her “storefront” being her Instagram.
“I started to see the demand increase to such an extent that I felt it was time to quit my day job,” she said.
“I was so nervous about taking the plunge and a huge boost was an entrepreneur subscription that I joined, called Aussie Biz Chic.
“The Aussie Biz Chic community encouraged me to take the leap and guided me through the process – I have since tripled my income!”
Although Danya takes pride in her abilities, she still finds it difficult to say that she is a full-time psychic to new people she meets, especially since her previous job was so widely respected.
She has noticed that when she talks to people about her financial history and graduate school, her psychic work is somewhat legitimized for skeptics.
Danya added, “I grew up in a strong Eastern European household and energy work and superstition normalized. Western culture does not accept this work so freely.
“I like to think of myself as a pragmatic clairvoyant, I have a degree, I have held a fairly senior position in a big bank, I am a mother, a wife, I own a property and an investment portfolio; that’s why customers identify themselves tome.
“A medium doesn’t have to be the lady with the dark makeup leaning over a crystal ball at the back of a theme park. In fact, we all have an intuitive ability, I was just encouraged to listen more deeply to mine.
