The School of Accountancy at Daniels College of Business is hosting an evening with author and investment banker William D. Cohan as part of its Town Hall 2016 event on Monday, October 24 at 6 p.m. at the Reiman Theater at Margery Reed Hall in the ‘University of Denver. Cohan, a former Wall Street senior M&A investment banker is The New York Times best-selling author of three non-fiction stories on Wall Street. He will share his experience as a writer and banker, then answer questions from the audience.

Cohan is the author of The Price of Silence, Wall Street: Money and Power: How Goldman Sachs Came to Rule the World, House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street and The last tycoons: the secret story of Lazard Frères & Co.

He is an editor at Vanity Fair and writes a weekly opinion column for Bloomberg View. He also writes for the Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Atlantic, Art News, The Irish Times, The Washington Post and The New York Times Magazine.

He also appears regularly on MSNBC, Bloomberg TV, where he is editor, and on CNN, Current TV and BBC-TV. He is a graduate of Duke University, Columbia University School of Journalism, and Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
